What You Have to Get From 2021 BMW X3 M
So let’s, get started up in the front with what makes this M special. Now as far as the grill it’s, actually not really changed. As long as you choose the base x 3m, so you’ll notice. It’s, just the signature, kidney grill with still having chrome around it. But if you choose the competition package, this is all gonna get blacked out now what’s really different, though, is going to be this lower fascia, no matter which model you choose both of them are going to have a totally different, lower fascia Lots of piano black trim here.
Obviously, the openings are a lot wider to feed in more air, including over here, where we have a fully functional break done now up in the top. Here we have our LED headlights. This is the 2021 BMW X3 M signature. Bmw design with the LED daytime running lights, and we do have adaptive and cornering abilities on board now coming down here to your wheels.
You’re, always going to have a very aggressive alloy rim. These are the standard 20s, but you can also get twenty ones and regardless they’re, always going to be wrapped in Pirelli PZero performance summer tires and, of course, as far as your brakes, they are also upgraded to gigantic 15.6 inch. Four piston ventilated disc brakes and, as you can see on this model, we also have the blue brake calipers. Now moving on from that, we have dedicated 2021 BMW X3 M branding here on the side. We also have the unique M mirrors.
Of course, this is the 2021 BMW X3 M signature design, where it kind of looks like it’s touching, but on this model it doesn’t that does allow for power folding. If you choose a competition, this will be finished in black and no matter what you will have heating power, folding, auto dimming and blind spot monitoring. Now I’m gonna start talking about the rear design with these right.
These quad exhaust pipes pumping out that absolutely phenomenal sound. The M 340i sounds really good, but this 2021 BMW X3 M, I think, has a beat now as far as other things to mention. If you go for the competition model, these silver exhausts will be swapped out for fully black ones to give it a stealthier look up in the top. Here we do have the same fully LED taillights as all X, threes have and then, as far as other things to mention, we do have black roof rails, as well as black window trim, to give it that stealthy vibe.
Now, in addition to all the performance bits you’re going to get on this X 3m, you’re, also going to get quite a few safety systems standard across all of the lineup. So the only thing that’s, going to be optional on this 2021 BMW X3 M, is the extended collision mitigation system, as well as the adaptive cruise control with the driving assistant.

Twelve point: three inch live cockpit, professional gauge cluster. It does have the same design as than most other BMWs, and, of course you can reconfigure it now. In addition to that, though, if you choose the executive package, which this model does have, that’s, where you will get this head-up display, and if this is also fully reconfigurable – and they do also have a lot of the menus.
Inside of this head-up display, which i think is a really cool idea now coming back to the steering wheel, we have electric power, assisted steering and a really nice, thick friend M steering wheel with, of course, the in branding and color contrast stitching the best IV leather Covered airbag cover and then the steering wheel itself is going to be a manual tilt and telescoping across the range plus with the executive package will have heating all right.
So let’s, move on to the interior storage, where the 2021 BMW X3 M continues to have good deal more than some of the rivals, so in our center console here. This is quite deep. We do have a rubber lining at the bottom, as well as a USB Type-c. So you can kind of infer if you go for the competition is gonna, be it Slightly faster 0.1 seconds faster, so not much faster, but this is definitely not slowed by anything. You can absolutely not. This is 4.1 seconds zero to 60 and in four seconds, even if you go for the competition, those are really good numbers, obviously, especially for a crossover yeah, and since we’re kind of stuck in traffic a little bit.
I think now would be a fitting time to talk about how this does in everyday life. You know because this is the reason why you would buy an 2021 BMW X3 M crossover versus you know something like an m4 and three just having the more practicality, more family-oriented feeling – and you know, does perfectly find ya.
You don’t really have a lot of signs that you’re driving anything special. You know when you’re just going at low speeds. I think it’s, a good thing, because you’re, not compromising on comfort yeah. This is definitely a vehicle. You can take on a family vacation and be in tremendous comfort. You may get used to it during your ownership.
I’m sure, but it certainly could have been done better if they just had left it as what it was before, but that silly complaint just fades away. When you start to accelerate you know, and during that acceleration, I was trying to pay attention, because I know we need to talk about the transmission.
It is an 8-speed automatic in this 2021 BMW X3 M model and really it fires off shifts now that he has it in the sport mode. It really is just firing them off as fast as you would want it to it.’s, just really a good transmission for comfort, as well as for the sports side of things right and we’ll. Do some manual shifting with the paddle shifters as well. We’ll, see how responsive it is. Yeah. Definitely nice and responsive wow it’s. A lot of fun should put the paddles now shifting like that, may cost you a little bit at the pump.
So I do need to talk about the fuel economy for both the x3m and the competition they’re gonna be rated at 14 city 19, highway 16 combined. So that’s. That is a little bit of a sacrifice over the regular m40 I or the more regular M 340i, but definitely you’re, getting a lot with this package.
How much the 2021 BMW X3 M Price?
Now I guess, since I was talking about that M340, we may be curious as to how much more the regular M version is going to cost you over the the kind of M Sport version, and this base M starts at $69.900, the M competition is $76.900, so that those are the exact same prices as last year and as far as how this one is equipped.
So you’re, looking How much the 2021 BMW X3 M Price? at $34.500 price premium, but definitely in the grand scheme of things for eighty grand, you could definitely spend your money in a lot worse of spots.
