2020 Lincoln Navigator – Lincoln, has been totally reinventing its brand over the last few years, and one of the vehicles that started off that process was this lincoln navigator. Now, on its third model year of this generation, 2020 brings some new and exciting updates, including this monochromatic package, which you see here, but with a new escalade going on sale in just a couple months.

What You Have to Get From 2020 Lincoln Navigator
So in this class a big and bold design is a requirement, and this definitely checks off that box. Now, what you’ll notice actually is we have a little bit of a different fascia than what you normally expect on the 2020 Lincoln Navigator. Normally, what you have is a full chrome grille. But with this monochromatic package, the center part of the grille turns into body color, and you can pair this with three different colors white, black or silver.
Here on the black, it really makes for a cool menacing look, and you still have the chrome trim around it now. Turning our attention to the headlights, these are, of course, standard full led headlights. You’ve, got the really cool daytime running light design which bends around, and these do light up. As you approach the vehicle for a really cool look separated below that, you have your led turn signal and then finally down here at the bottom.
This is where you have your led fog lights now, just like in the front. Large and bold wheel. Designs are, of course, another requirement for a vehicle like this and on the 2020 Lincoln Navigator you’re, going to have at least a standard 20 inch alloy, but that’s. Only on the standard trim level. When you get to the reserve trim level, that’s, where you’re, going to get 22 inch alloys and with this monochromatic package, these are finished in a really beautiful blast.
Black really goes well with the 2020 Lincoln Navigator design. It really stands out a lot now up above that, of course, you have got your signature, navigator branding finished in black again and then up here at your mirror. These are fully loaded. They’ve, got all the options, so you have heating power, folding, auto dimming and integrated blind spot monitoring. Now before we get around to the rear design of the 2020 Lincoln Navigator.
I do want to mention that this vehicle right here is the standard wheelbase version. However, you can also get an l if this is not enough space for you, but it’s, taking a step back and looking at the rear design for this 2020 Lincoln Navigator . As you can see, it kind of. Has that signature lincoln look? It looks kind of like the aviator, except it has a more substantial and bigger presence to it.
Now, as far as your individual design elements for this 2020 Lincoln Navigator, we have this nice silver piece that goes across the entire vehicle, giving it a nice and cohesive, look and then dropping down. We have full length led tail lights, which i imagine look really really neat at night and then dropping down. We have a little bit of chrome, accenting and then no exposed exhaust on this 2020 Lincoln Navigator and a tow rating of 8.700 pounds as a maximum for the 4×2 model.
Now this is a very expensive luxury SUV. As you would expect, lincoln does throw in the vast majority of your safety systems as standard across all of the navigator lineup. The only safety system you’re not going to have standard is adaptive crews and that’s, going to be added on the reserve model, which does bring it right in line with that of what the new cadillac escalade offers for its Safety systems well guys, you can see this 2020 Lincoln Navigator has a big and bold exterior design, but i know there’s, a lot of really cool stuff on the inside.
One of the things i am noticing is that, as i approach the power deploying running boards did come down so that i don’t have to wait on them once i grab the door handle now to get inside. You’ll, just grab behind the handle, now checking out the cabin of this flagship, 2020 Lincoln Navigator.
As you’d, expect, 2020 Lincoln Navigator definitely has a very premium and very upscale design. Now also, as you would expect, you have got a lot of different interior choices that you can pick between, so you will have standard premium leather and that’s, going to come in ebony or cappuccino colors. If you go for the standard trim level and then when you upgrade to this reserve.
Then you will also find your seat controls, and we have a lot of controls here. That’s, because 2020 Lincoln Navigator have the 30 way perfect position, seats that come as part of the luxury package. So you have basically an infinite number of adjustments that you can do right here and then you also find three-person memory seating.
Now, like i said these perfect position. Seats means that even things like your individual thighs support that can be adjusted as well as the different side bolsters, and then this is the premium leather seating. It does feel really really nice and these seats are just outrageously comfortable to set it now to get inside. The navigator we have the large power deployment running boards – i already mentioned, as well as a leather covered, assist grip all right.
Once it fires up, you will be greeted by a 12 inch reconfigurable gauge cluster, and this does have the typical, lincoln minimalistic design. So, as you can see kind of like your all, your numbers are grayed out until you get up to them, so that’s, a pretty cool touch and you can change different types of designs.
Inside of 2020 Lincoln Navigator, when you get the reserve trim level or higher, that’s, where you will also get this head up display. Now. This is a really really nice. Head-Up display very big, very vivid and, as you can tell, you have different colors in there, which a lot of manufacturers don’t do now coming back to the steering wheel itself. Of course, you have electric power, assisted steering and a really nice leather, wrapped wheel with chrome and some wood trim.
First of all, we have a little tray that we can toss to the side and inside we have a really nicely sized center console. This goes down like looks like about two feet deep, and we can stick our coupons in here, as you can see it just gobbles them up no problem whatsoever. Now there’s, a lot more storage. Besides, for that, though, so we’ll move on, we have got a little tray up here in the front. This is a wireless phone charging pad that is actually standard equipment on all models.
Inside we have got a 12-volt outlet as well as two usb ports and then on the opposite side. We have another little storage area as well as our two cup holders. However, the biggest part of these storage is actually right down here because of the unique way that lincoln has designed this. This is actually a floating console, so underneath you have tons of space and you can actually store just about anything down here.
Once that fires up 2020 Lincoln Navigator, you will be greeted with a 360 degree camera system. When you choose the reserve trim level. As you can see, you obviously have both your traditional view with active trajectory, as well as your 360 view, and we can switch between a few different angles right up there and then, of course, for park just press the p now back behind the shifter.
Here you will find an electronic parking brake and you also find your button for your automatic parallel and perpendicular parking abilities and your drive modes. Now, when you switch through these different drive modes, i’ll, go ahead and show you uh, but the gauge cluster goes through some really fancy, graphics and animations.
So it’s, really a cool look as you go through these different modes. Now the next place we’re going to check out is our floating console here now this houses our three zone automatic climate control, which of course is standard equipment. Now you’ve, got really nice toggles to adjust your temperature, and when you make those adjustments, they will show up up here in the display, and you can change the settings up there as well. If you prefer to do that up above that, you’ll find your audio controls.
Now. This is one of the really cool features of the 2020 Lincoln Navigator because you actually have a standard revel audio system. 14 speakers is the standard option, but what we’ve got on this one here is the 20 speaker revel ultima, sound system in the luxury package. We have standard navigation, of course, as you’d, expect at this price point. We also have standard, android, auto and apple carplay abilities. Inside of here, you will find a few more buttons, including some stuff, for your ambient lighting.
Finally, up here at the roof is where you will find a standard panoramic moon roof here on the reserve trim level, i’ll, go ahead and slide that rest. The way back, so you can see how large it is. It does go all the way back past. The second row head rest.
Well, here i am in the navigator’s. Second row seats, my oh my i just have to say when you sit back here, you feel special. It makes me feel like a movie director or something pulling up to some show that i’m, going to hop out, and people are going to be taking pictures of me because this rear seat this is this – is just dope.
I really enjoy. The looks of this rear seat, it has a very cool vibe to it and there’s. A lot of features going on, so i’m, going to go ahead and start covering it. So i want to talk about this space first. It comes in at 41, inches of rear leg, room 40 inches of her headroom, which just place it just a tad below the all-new escalade, but tons of space behind receding position. I have, i would say, maybe a foot, if not more space.
My feet can slide up underneath the seat, and it is also worth noting that this captain’s. Chair can also recline as well as slide now. As far as your individual features, i’ll start out here in the center. We do have our own climate controls back here. It’s, just a three zone setup and then we also have standard heated, rear seats. There’s a button up here that allows you to adjust the moon roof and then down below that we have two charging usb ports.
This is a big big suv, but it sure does scoot wow. That was all the way up to 60 miles, an hour um going a little bit downhill, just a little bit downhill, but still the power numbers on this are enormous and you can definitely tell as soon as you put your foot down. So what this has is the high output version of the three and a half liter ecoboost engine, so this is shared with the ford raptor.
So do you have more power than in an expedition? 450 horsepower 510 pound-feet of torque yep, so that’s just really just numbers – and i mean it – does it in such a nonchalant manner. It’s, always kind of impressive. I i’m impressed in the raptor the same way when you put your foot down it, doesn’t. Make sense you know physically for something this big to move that fast, but it does it and it does it and you feel like you could go 120 without it feeling even strained in the slightest.
This has power galore. We also have a 10-speed automatic transmission and you probably didn’t notice it getting up to speed there and that’s because it blends into the background absolutely seamlessly you really don’t feel any shifting at all. These these luxury flagship suvs. What they really do best is just being comfortable for all three rows and uh. The navigator is no exception. Uh we didn’t actually get the chance to drive the all-new escalade.
We also have the gauge cluster here, which is is reconfigurable but also doesn’t. Have a lot of design settings. I would have liked something, maybe with some a little bit more of a cool design. Yes and finally, let’s, discuss the fuel economy for the navigator um, so with the 4×2, so two wheel drive it’s, gonna be rated at 16 city 22 Highway 19 combined.
If you go for the four wheel, drive that’s, going to be 16 city 21 highway 18 combined, which is about the same as the new escalade. So, even though you do have that v6 engine um you’re, not going to have like too much of a fuel economy benefit because it has so much more power than the escalade.
How much the 2020 Lincoln Navigator Price?
As you probably know going into this final part here, this 2020 Lincoln Navigator isn’t cheap. So let’s, go ahead and discuss the pricing, so these are going to be for the two-wheel drive models. The standard is going to start at $76.185 bucks, the reserve, which is what we have here, is $81.725 and then finally, you have that top dog black label and that’s, going to be $97.135. Now this one’s particular equipment level.
